Peru, the best food in South America!

The old iglesia in Pisco, Peru.  Cropping would improve the photo but then you  couldn't see the stain that is the new iglesia.

The central square in Pisco.  Traffic is counter-clockwise, unless you need to turn around to follow the  guy that is going to show you to a hotel, then just u-turn.  We had a run in with the police.  Well, run-in is an overstatement.  Me made the illegal u-turn against traffic right in front of the police station.  One blew his whistle at us quite furiously.

Juan Pedro Mateo.  He was going to show us to a good restaurant.  We decided to treat him to dinner.  He was delightful company.

Dessert in Pisco, Peru.

These little liquor stores usually sell though a barred door.  We had Juan Padro with us so were invited in.  We sampled Pisco  and selected one to share with JP when we got to his house the next day.

JP & Gerry.  Sorry it is not oriented correctly.  Long upload time so you'll just have to live with it.  The good people I met through USNA never cease to amaze me.

The Naval Officer's Beach Club north of Lima, Peru.

Mejillones.

Mi familia en Peru, El Senor y Senora Brousset and their daughter Jean-Marie.
